Challenge
One of Nicolas Simon first major internet accomplishment
was to create LesConcierges Extranet/Intranet
interface. LesConcierges is the premier Corporate
Concierge service in the world. Prestigious clients
include American Express, Microsoft, AOL, Goldman
Sacks, Charles Schwab and many more. LesConcierges
antiquated extranet solution was becoming a strain
on internal resources. Nicolas Simon was asked
to remedy this problem by creating an easy to
use and manage interface.
Solution
By gathering resources from around the company,
Nicolas was able to create a plan for a "template-driven"
extranet site. It meant creating an interface
that not only allowed the current accounts to
be serviced better but also allow for the fast
deployment of new client's extranets.
Details
Three months in the making, the extranets were
launched in October of 1999 with great success.
Suddenly, all the company's extranet/intranet
resources were consolidated in one, efficient
resource and new client extranets were ready to
be launched within moment's notice. The company
realized a ROI in 3 months.
